Every once in a while, a bride-to-be comes to our boutique…and something special happens…she touches your heart. Her vision, her spirit, her dreams…all come together as she finds her perfect wedding gown.

Evy was one such bride-to-be.

Bridget Redmond of { First Kiss Films } Wedding Cinematography captured what we, at Ashton Station Bridal envisioned Evy’s wedding day to be, in this beautiful vintage film.

Soft pink, gold and coral hues,

Pretty roses and bouquets of baby’s breath,

A perfectly paired bride and groom,

And our new favorite first kiss…

…this was Evy & Brendan’s wedding.

The bride, Evy, is a elementary-school teacher, who met her husband-to-be through a colleague at work (read the sweet story here). Her young class was so thrilled when they heard the news that she was to become a “Mrs.” that it inspired one of her students to imagine and sketch her teacher with her future husband on their wedding day. Touched by this whimsical rendition of the not-so-distant future, the adorable drawing was preserved and used to sweetly adorn some of the wedding stationary.

Evy & Brendan’s wedding was a gorgeous modern classic celebration, filled with meaningful details, beauty, and so many touching moments. Two of our favourite moments…the way the couple turned to look at each other at the beginning of the ceremony (it’s guaranteed to make you smile) and the pure joy on their faces as they leave the church together, freshly married. Just seeing the way they look at each other it’s obvious that they are perfectly paired. Congratulations Evy & Brendan on your beautiful day, and the beautiful life you have ahead.
